Senior undergraduate researcher, Chloe Friedman, received the Newcomb Institute Student Grant for Independent Research in the amount of $4,000 to complete her honors thesis. Chloe intends to use the funds to expand her work on the effects of Alprazolam in fear conditioning using mouse models. She will be utilizing RNA Scope, a technique she learned during her summer internship at NYU. We are excited to see what she finds with this new technique!
