Erik Bylund is a Swedish exchange student studying pharmacology at Uppsala University in Sweden. Erik has been awarded funding by the Tulane Undergraduate Research in Neuroscience (TURN) program to conduct research with our lab over the Summer months. He will be working with our PhD Student, Kasey Anderson, to organize and analyze her ongoing research. Kasey utilizes single unit recordings and appetitive and aversive conditioning to better understand neuronal mediation of behavior across multiple valences. Erik will be presenting his work as part of the TURN program at the end of the summer.
