Undergraduate students Chloe Friedman (Senior) and Josie Leit (Junior) both presented posters at the Newcomb Tulane College (NTC) poster presentation session. Josie (top photo) presented her poster titled "Behavioral Responses During Situational Reminders in a Mouse Model of Hyperarousal" which highlights the work she has been conducting with PhD student, Luisa Zavala-Rodriguez (also pictured). Their work has focused on the behavioral effects of the drug psilocybin in our Traumatic Experience with Reminders of Stress (TERS) paradigm. Chloe (bottom photo) presented her poster titled "Alprazolam Bidirectionally Modulates Defensive Behavior in a Sex-Dependent Manner" which she has been working on as part of her senior thesis which she defended earlier this month.
