Ph.D. Students Present at Neuro Retreat

Eric is being introduced by Dr. Fadok for his presentation in the top photo and the bottom photo shows Luisa standing next to her poster and smiling.

The annual Tulane Brain Institute neuroscience retreat allows the labs at Tulane not only share research with one another but also to present the work that our labs conduct to incoming neuroscience Ph.D. students. The Fadok lab had two of our Ph.D. students present this year.

Eric Le (Top) gave a presentation titled "Central Amygdala-Dependent Modulation of Defensive Behavior During Fear Extinction" on his current research.

Luisa Zavala Rodriguez (Bottom) presented a poster titled "The Effects of Psilocybin on Amygdala Activity and Hyperarousal in a Traumatic Stress Paradigm" on her future research.
