Luisa Zavala-Rodriguez, Ph.D. Student, presented her preliminary data at the Gordon Research Conference (GRC) as part of the first Neurobiology of Psychedelics conference series. Luisa's research focuses on how psilocybin affects fear learning in mouse models. The GRC spanned 6 days at Bryant University hosting more than 40 speakers centered around "Bridging Molecular and Synaptic Mechanisms to Behavior and Therapeutics". Luisa and Dr. Fadok remarked that the experience was enriching with many great discussions on the use of psychedelics in research and therapeutics.
